Coaches -

We are gearing up for Spring 2016 Soccer and there are a few things that you need to start working as soon as possible.

1. Call all of your players and get them to sign up. We cannot stress this enough. If your team does not have MORE than 50% of the players return BEFORE the deadline, your team will be disbanded and the players put back into the player pool for other teams. We have to have solid answers on team formation day and cannot wait for "maybes" and "oops, we forgots" CALL THEM NOW! Encourage them to sign up online.

2. Get yourself squared away on seasonal paperwork at http://www.cleburnesoccer.com/coaches - Each season we have a handful of coaches that don't get all their paperwork done in time. This causes delays in rosters, practices, and uniforms. Don't be that coach!

Highlights of the Requirements Above

Step 1 - You have to sign up every season. This is not new.
Step 2 - If you had risk management in the fall, you don't need it now. Your risk management expires on June 1st of every year.
Step 3 - We need to know YOUR intentions as a coach. Fill this form out to let us know
Step 4 - Get coaching education if you have not already done so. If you have completed the online courses locally, go to state level courses (http://www.ntxsoccer.org/coaching/main.aspx)
Step 5 - This is information about your TEAM and this information goes to the league - not CSA
Step 6 - Coaches Meeting is February 6th. SAVE THIS DATE! This meeting is mandatory and we have a lot of info to cover concerning the Spring 2016 and Fall 2016 Seasons. The way we calculate age groups, field sizes, number of players on the field, headers, etc... are all changing!
Step 7 - You will get your rosters unlocked after you attend the coaches meeting. You then have 3 days to contact your new players and get uniforms ordered for them. Do not put this off.

Jan 29 - Registration at Nolan River Mall 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Jan 23 - Grade 8 Referee Clinic at Westhill Church of Christ.

Jan 31 - Team Formation

Feb 6 - Coaches Meeting (MANDATORY for all coaches, assistants, and managers)

Feb 14 - League Division Meeting

Feb 25 - Schedules Released (maybe sooner)

Mar 5 - U4-U14 Season Begins
Mar 19 - U16-U19 Season Begins

Mar 12-20 - Spring Break - WE WILL HAVE GAMES BOTH WEEKENDS
Mar 26-27 - No Games - Easter Weekend

May 8 - Mother's Day - WE WILL HAVE GAMES

May 14 - Recreational Season Ends

Jun 3-5 - Chisholm Trail Classic Soccer Tournament (Girls)
